ART 203 - Painting I

The spring term of this yearlong course builds and expands upon knowledge acquired in the first semester. Different materials and methods are introduced, including acrylics and collage, to expand the scope of our painting language and references. Students further develop their artistic individuation in a series of longer-term, interpretive projects. Alongside our projects, in-class painting from a live model is a cornerstone of our practice this semester. Gina Ruggeri.
