Various techniques and applications of integration are studied. The calculus of transcendental functions—such as the exponential, logarithmic, and inverse trigonometric functions—are also developed. A main theme in this course are the many ways functions can be defined, and arise naturally in problems in the mathematical sciences. The Department.
