URBS 367 - Urban Education Reform Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) (Same as EDUC 367 ) This seminar examines American urban education reform from historical and contemporary perspectives. Particular attention is given to the political and economic aspects of educational change. Specific issues addressed in the course include school governance, standards and accountability, incentive-based reform strategies, and investments in teacher quality. Maria Hantzopoulos.
Prerequisite(s): EDUC 235 or permission of the instructor.
