      • CMPU 100 Alternatives:
        • If a student places out of CMPU 100 to take CMPU 101  or CMPU 102 , they can go into CMPU 250  with self-study of appropriate material. CMPU 100 instructors can provide material.

      • MATH 240 Alternatives
        • If a student places out of introductory statistics (e.g., AP Statistics, MATH 141 , PSYC 200 , or ECON 203 ), they may skip MATH 240 and instead take MATH 242 .
        • The student may need to self-study intro R before MATH 242 or MATH 244.
    • Intermediate DSS course
      • Students must take either of the following to complete the Intermediate DSS course requirement: CMPU 250 or MATH 244. A student cannot take both of these.
