Correlate Sequence in Music and Culture Requirements:

• MUSI 101 - Fundamentals of Music  or MUSI 105 - Music Theory I  
• MUSI 136 - Introduction to World Music  or MUSI 202 Black Music    
• Three 200-level courses in music history, theory, or music and culture (or other music-relevant courses approved by the Music Department)
• One 300-level music & culture seminar, or MUSI 399 , an Independent Study for which a proposal should be submitted and approved by the Music Department before the end of the junior year.
