Electives
- Two units of CLS work at the 300-level in Biology
- Two units of additional CLS work from the approved list of 200-level or 300-level courses. The list: Another 200- or 300-level Biology CLS, or a CLS from the Natural Sciences not in Biology, or other CLS approved by the major adviser.
Intensives
One half unit of Intensives taken from list of available Intensives or in consultation with adviser.
Other
The number of units required for the Biology major is 10.5 if the student starts with BIOL 107 and BIOL 108 . The number of units required for the Biology major is 9.5 if the student places out of BIOL 107 and starts with BIOL 108 . The number of units required for the Biology major is 8.5 if the student places out of BIOL 107 and BIOL 108 and starts with a 200-level Biology course.
