• PHIL 110 - Early Chinese Philosophy

Distributional Content Area Units Required

Electives

• Three 300-level seminars, at least two of which must be differently numbered
• Any 200-level or 300-level Philosophy course

Intensives

• 1.5 units of Intensives which may include PHIL 390 -PHIL 391 Senior Thesis  
• Students who choose to write a thesis must participate in a proseminar that will run throughout the fall semester, and into the first half of the spring semester of the senior year

NRO Policy

After the declaration of major, no required philosophy courses may be elected NRO.

Other

Independent Work (PHIL-298 or PHIL-399) and Community-Engaged Learning (PHIL-290) do not count as credits toward the Philosophy major.
