Students undertaking the correlate sequence must complete 6 units. All students must take AFRS 100 Introduction to Africana Studies . In addition, students must complete two Arabic language courses at the 200 level (AFRS 207  and AFRS 208 ) and two at the 300 level (AFRS 307 , AFRS 308 , or AFRS 311 ). Students must also take AFRS 205 , or in consultation with the correlate adviser, another approved course. Only one credit from study abroad and/or summer intensive Arabic language programs may count toward the Arabic Language and Culture correlate.
