• MUSI 106 - Music Theory II  
• MUSI 205 - Music Theory III  
• MUSI 211 - Counterpoint  
• One unit of 200-level music theory seminar or intensive (may include MUSI 207  and MUSI 208  )
• One unit of 300-level music theory seminar or intensive, or MUSI 399 , an Independent Study for which a proposal should be submitted by the end of the junior year.
