MUSI 204 - Music Theory II Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) The second class of a three-semester sequence devoted to detailed investigation of the fundamental elements of music, including harmony, melody, form, rhythm, meter, texture, and timbre. Skills include analysis, writing, analytical listening, and musical comprehension. Susan Bialek (lab), Tamyka Jordon-Conlin and Táhirih Motazedian.
Prerequisite(s): MUSI 203 or successful completion of departmental advanced placement exam at the beginning of the fall semester.
Two 75-minute periods plus extra periods.
