ENGL 267 - Slow Poetry

In this Intensive, students are assigned single poems each week to practice and luxuriate in slow reading. Our goal is to exercise full immersion in poetry, allowing students to linger in the work, enhance comprehension, and build a relationship with it. The class culminates in each student giving a dramatic reading of (memorized or read) a poem of his/her/their choice. Molly McGlennen.
