MEDS 322 - Video/Expanded Media II

(Same as ART 322) This advanced studio course expands on the work in ART 222/MEDS 222 and ART 223. The course provides the conceptual and practical foundation for students to make ambitious work across a range of media, including video, installation, multi-media performance, collaborative projects, and site- and context-specific works. Particular attention is paid to the methods, materials, and issues in contemporary artistic practice. Class discussions, screenings, readings, and visits to galleries/museums supplement our work.
