YIDD 211 - Intermediate Yiddish

This course builds on the linguistic and cultural foundations of Beginning Yiddish and expands students’ understanding of Yiddish grammar, vocabulary and history. Students practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills based on specific themes, such as Jewish traditions, the Holocaust, and the Yiddish press.
