ART 207 - Drawing II: Projects and Explorations Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) This course investigates drawing through a series of open-ended projects. Students generate independent drawing inquiries that may shift, change and grow while
taking an interpretive approach to assignments. Short and long-term projects are developed, with an emphasis on working through both perceptual and conceptual
concerns alongside material investigations. Students work in a range of approaches to drawing including collage, color, narrative, site-specific drawing and work from
a model. Laura Newman.
Prerequisite(s): ART 102 -ART 103 or ART 107 -ART 108 and permission of the instructor.
Two 2-hour periods.
