ECON 355 - Industrial Organization

Industrial Organization studies the behavior of firms under imperfect competition and examines their strategic interactions through the lens of game theory. This course combines theory with empirical evidence and case studies from various industries. Topics include different market structures and business strategies, such as networks, product differentiation, price discrimination, advertising, and vertical integration, as well as antitrust policies related to mergers, collusion, and exclusive dealings. Prerequisite(s): ECON 201  and ECON 203 ; or permission of the instructor.
