MATH 384 - Applied Linear Algebra Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) A second course in linear algebra that builds on MATH 221 by emphasizing computational and applied perspectives. Topics include matrix factorizations, applied and computational aspects of eigenvalue problems, singular value decomposition, and linear dynamical systems. Students study how linear algebra is used in data analysis, dimensionality reduction, network analysis, and scientific computing. The Department.
