DANC 233 - Perspectives in Dance and Society: Changemakers in Dance

Students explore major developments in dance, through the study of renowned dance artists in America over the past 100 years. Class sessions highlight the choreographers and dancers who initiated those developments and laid the foundation for each successive generation of dancers and choreographers. Class sessions occasionally include lectures and/or workshops with prominent artists in the field.  Stephen Rooks.
