ENGL 282 - Crafting and Curating Poetry Semester Offered: Spring 0.5 unit(s) Designed for students working as editors on the Vassar Review poetry section, this intensive examines both what makes good poetry and how that sense influences one’s own writing. For the first half of the semester, students gather as they finalize the selections of poetry submitted to the Vassar Review to discuss both the criteria and considerations for judging the works. For the second half of the semester, students write and submit their own poems to one another, guided by peer workshops and informed by their work with the Review. Molly McGlennen.
