ESCI 105 - Field Geology of the Hudson Valley Semester Offered: Fall 0.5 unit(s) The bucolic landscapes of the Hudson Valley are the result of over a billion years of geological processes. The rocks of this region host an archive of this history, of once towering mountains, ancient tropical seas, and thick sheets of ice. Each week a trip to a local field locality is supplemented by lectures and readings. John Zayac.
