INTL 325 - Migration and Displacement Studies Capstone Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) In this course, students build on and integrate their prior coursework related to migration and displacement in order to design and complete a major independent research project. After a grounding in important recent scholarship in critical migration & refugee studies, students choose the topic, methods, and format of a capstone project, and are advised in relevant social science and humanities research methodologies, including participatory community-engaged approaches. Students share their work in progress throughout the semester, and give structured feedback on one another’s projects. Kirsten Wesselhoeft.
Prerequisite(s): Declaration of Migration and Displacement correlate sequence.
Both first and second six-week course.
