MUSI 239 - Politics and Music Semester Offered: Fall. 0.5 unit(s) This course examines the varied uses of music by political actors. Such uses include musical acts at rallies, playlists, musical propaganda, advertising, and musical performances by politicians. Course readings cover various countries with particular attention paid to the 2024 US Presidential election, as the first primaries happen as class starts. Justin Patch.
