CREO 105 - Beginning Haitian Creole Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) This course introduces students to the language of Haitian Creole, also called Kreyòl Ayisyen, and is intended for students with little or no prior knowledge of the language. Haitian Creole is spoken by Haiti’s population of nine million and by about one million Haitians in the U.S. including over 190,000 in the New York City area. Through this course, students develop introductory speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Silke von der Emde.
