DRAM 214 - Clowning Semester Offered: Fall. 1 unit(s) This course is an intensive study in the realm of Clown. Clowning is a transformative tool for every performer that deepens the actor’s presence on stage, develops comic timing and improvisational skills, teaches specificity of movement, encourages bolder physical and vocal choices and develops playful responsiveness as a tool for connecting with audiences. Through an exploration of the very personal and specific way in which each of our physical bodies move, trip, dance, and play through the world students discover the heart of their personal funny. Prerequisite(s): DRAM 102 and DRAM 103 .
