ART 302 - Painting II Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) This course investigates painting through a series of assigned open-ended projects. Because it is intended to help students develop a context in which to make independent choices, it explores a wide range of conceptual and formal approaches to painting and considers various models through which painting can be considered, such as painting as a window, a map, or an object.
Prerequisite(s): ART 102 -103 and two 200-level studio art courses, or permission of the instructor.
Two 2-hour periods.
