ART 102 - Drawing I: Visual Language Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) Development of visual ideas through a range of approaches to drawing. Emphasis is placed on perceptual drawing from life through subjects including landscape, interior, still life, and the human figure. In the second semester, figure drawing is the primary focus. Throughout the year, students work in a range of black and white media, as the elements of drawing (line, shape, value, form, space and texture) are investigated through specific problems. This course is suitable for both beginners and students with drawing experience. Gordon Hall, Joshua Marsh, Gina Ruggeri, Christina Tenaglia.
