SOCI 380 - Urban Ethnography Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) This advanced level seminar delves into the rich field of urban ethnography, examining classical and contemporary works that illuminate the intersections of race, space, class, and representations of urbanism. Through an interdisciplinary lens drawing from sociology, anthropology, Black Studies, geography and others, students critically engage with theories, methods, and empirical research to deepen their understanding of everyday life in cities and communities across the United States.
