JAPA 370 - International Student Forum with Ochanomizu University 0.5 unit(s)
The International Student Forum annually takes place for two weeks in mid-February. Students will discuss various global issues in Japanese. The themes of past forums have included “Construction of Global Networks,” “Disaster and the Movement of Population,” and “Discussing Environment and Natural Disasters.” Each student is required to prepare a 10-minute PPT presentation under the close mentoring of a Japanese faculty member.
The theme of the forum is announced at the end of November each year. Students are required to work on their research topics and to actively interact with Ochanomizu students during the winter break.
