ASL 105 - Beginning American Sign Language Semester Offered: Fall and Spring 1 unit(s) In this course students acquire an introductory level of sign vocabulary and gain a basic understanding of ASL grammar and sentence structure. Students will learn to use both formal and informal registers in ASL. This course also provides a basic understanding of the Deaf Community and Culture.
