In this small intensive we examine in detail special topics in religion, media and popular culture. Our reading list is tailored to student interest and may include in-depth readings on media effects theory, film and mysticism, multi-platform imaginary fictional worlds such as Harry Potter or Star Wars, mobile technologies and religion, iphones and spiritual practices, science fiction and spirituality, and other topics.
