YIDD 105 - Beginning Yiddish Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) This course introduces students to the fundamentals of Yiddish language and to world of Yiddish culture, history, and traditions. Students master the basics of the alphabet, grammar, and vocabulary and acquire the linguistic skills to read Yiddish texts as well as communicate about topics such as family, food, work, and Jewish holidays.
