Since writing a thesis during fall semester is preferable, film majors should talk to their advisers spring of junior year. In Film, a research thesis is recommended but not required, especially for those students not writing a FILM 301 or enrolled in FILM 327 Senior Project: Fiction or FILM 326 Senior Project: Non-Fiction.
