DRAM 103 - Introduction to Stagecraft Semester Offered: Fall and Spring 0.5 unit(s) This is a course designed for students to examine and appreciate the technical aspects of theater making. We explore stagecraft, technical drawing, carpentry, sound design, stage lighting, rigging, safety protocols, costume construction, and design. Students gain a first-hand appreciation for the behind-the-scenes contributions of designers, stagehands, stage managers, and technicians as they work towards producing their own moment of stagecraft The Department.
First six-week course.
Two 1-hour periods.
