PHIL 103 - History of Western Philosophy: Medieval 1 unit(s) This course surveys roughly one thousand years of philosophical activity in the Middle Ages, encompassing the Christian, Islamic, and Jewish traditions. Key authors include Augustine, Boethius, Ibn-Sīnā (Avicenna), Ibn Rushd (Averroes), Maimonides, and Thomas Aquinas. Christopher Raymond.
