RELI 281 - Research on Religion & Pop Culture

This intensive course introduces students to research methods and key readings on religion, spirituality and American popular culture. The course begins with key readings examining how religious ideas, practices, and communities are being reshaped by television, films, the internet, mobile devices, and popular culture.  The remainder of the course is spent working on individual research projects, reading articles on the research and writing process, and sharing work in progress.
