A focused experience for individual or small groups of students. Topics may include ultrafast optics, nanoscale science, communicating physics to the general public, physics pedagogy, biophysics, nonlinear dynamics, advanced microscopy techniques, history of physics, and advanced laboratory development. One 2-hour period and individual conferences with the instructor.
