MATH 144 - Foundations of Data Science Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) (Same as CMPU 144 ) This course focuses on students’ development and practice of computational thinking and inferential thinking. Students will learn the basics of the Python progamming language to make generalizations based on limited data while accounting for uncertaintly in the data collection processs. Students will learn to write programs, generate images to visualize data, and work with real-world datasets, culminating in a final project centered around analyzing climate change data.
