ART 214 - Color Digital Photography Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) This course examines how color in light delineates space and form. The goal of this class is to record this phenomenon as accurately as possible. Scanning traditional silver gelatin film and digital capture systems are utilized. Digital color prints are produced using Photoshop and inkjet printing. Some of the topics covered are the documentary value of color information, the ability of the computer program to idealize our experience of reality, and the demise of the latent image. Judith Linn.
Prerequisite(s): ART 212 or ART 213 and/or permission of the instructor.
Two 2-hour periods.
