ART 209 - Printmaking: Intaglio Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) This course is designed to explore the fundamentals of printmaking focusing primarily on Intaglio techniques, including drypoint, etching, aquatint, engraving, embossing and stippling. While drawing and mark making are at the core of these printmaking techniques, we experiment working within as well as pushing up against the constraints of each process. We explore the making of multiples and sequences and consider how they operate in a broader view of art making, conceptual thinking and viewing. Christina Tenaglia.
Prerequisite(s): ART 102 , and permission of the instructor.
