BIOL 316 - Seminar in Neurobiology Semester Offered: Fall 1 unit(s) A multi-level examination of nervous systems, this course is an advanced and integrative evaluation of current topics in neurobiology. Topics vary but may include glia, evolution of nervous systems, neuroimmune interactions, mechanisms of neural communication and plasticity. Emphasis is placed on current thinking and research and course material is drawn from the recent neurobiological literature. Kathleen Susman.
Prerequisite(s): Two units of 200-level Biology or one unit of 200-level Biology and NEUR 201 .
Recommended: BIOL 217 or BIOL 228 .
