ASIA 152 - Religions of Asia Semester Offered: Fall and Spring 1 unit(s) (Same as RELI 152 ) This course is an introduction to the religions of Asia (Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Zen, Shinto, etc.) through a study of practices, sites, sensibilities, and doctrines. The focus is comparative as the course explores numerous themes, including creation (cosmology), myth, ritual, action, fate and destiny, human freedom, and ultimate values. Open to all students except seniors.
Two 75-minute periods.
