ART 230 - Art in the Age of Van Eyck, Dürer and Bruegel 1 unit(s) Early Netherlandish and German painting and printmaking from Campin and van Eyck to Bruegel, Holbein, and Dürer. The course examines northern European attitudes toward nature, devotional art and portraiture that developed in the early fifteenth century and their evolution up to and through the Protestant Reformation of the sixteenth century. Ms. Kuretsky.
Prerequisite(s): ART 105 -ART 106 or permission of the instructor.
Two 75-minute periods.
