Vassar College Annual Fire Safety and Security Report
Because we value the safety of all members of the Vassar College community and as required by the Clery Act, Vassar College publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. The ASFSR includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled by Vassar College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from Vassar College. Our Annual Security and Fire Safety Report also outlines various campus safety, fire safety, and security policies, such as those concerning crime reporting, prevention and response to sexual and gender violence, alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, emergency response and evacuation procedures, and other matters. The ASFSR also includes important tips to help every member of the community remain safe and avoid becoming a victim of crime. The ASFSR is available on the college’s website at https://offices.vassar.edu/campus-safety/statistics/. You can also obtain a copy of this report by contacting the director of Campus Safety at (845) 437-5201. Vassar College crime statistics can also be found on the U.S. Department of Education at https://ope.ed.gov/campussafety/#/
